Julia G. Weeks, M.D.

    Dr. Weeks is board-certified in family medicine. She earned her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. Dr. Weeks completed her internship in Family Medicine and a fellowship in tropical medicine. She served as a medical missionary in Congo for 10 years. Upon returning to the US, she completed a residency in Family Medicine and served as the Medical Director for Archbold’s Urgent Care Center. Currently, she serves as the Associate Program Director for the TMH Family Medicine Residency Program and Medical Director for the TMH Colleague Health Program. She has also gained two years of recent experience as a wound care physician.

    Dr. Weeks will work as a family medicine and wound care physician at Madison County Memorial Hospital. A meet-and-greet welcoming reception will be held at the Hospital in the front lobby on December 5, 2023, at 5:00 PM. Her practice location will be inside the Hospital until the new Madison Health and Wellness Center opens. She will begin seeing patients on December 13, 2023.
