Planning and executing activities for the swing bed patients to include art and music programs, games, social events, special events, and occasional outings in the community. Duties may include purchasing the items needed for activities, setting up rooms for activities and events, and overseeing the patients to ensure the patients are safe and following the rules and instructions. Problem-solving and communication skills enable you to develop appropriate activities and communicate instructions so that the patients understand the rules involved.

05/10/2022 Coder The HIM Coder/Clerk is responsible for assembling, coding, abstracting and performing analysis on patient records. Assist in answering phone calls and request for patient records.
01/25/2022 EMT or Paramedic (Mid Shift 11AM-11PM) The Emergency Room Technician/ EMT assures that patient care is being facilitated per facility policy and procedures during his or her shift. Notifies appropriate administrative staff with any event or occurrence that is not standard practice of the facility. Assists and performs clinical, non-clinical, and clerical duties as needed. Adheres to the MCMH Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Performs specific duties and skills as defined in competency assessment.  Only performs care within scope of practice.

01/25/2022 Respiratory Therapists A Respiratory Therapist, or Registered Respiratory Therapist, is responsible for monitoring and treating patients with temporary or chronic respiratory conditions like asthma, COPD, pneumonia, bronchitis or emphysema. Their duties include interviewing patients and completing diagnostic tests to determine their respiratory conditions, communicating with Physicians and Nurses to develop patient treatment plans and administering respiratory treatments to patients based on their conditions.

01/25/2022 Respiratory Therapy Department Manager As a respiratory therapy manager, you supervise respiratory therapy technicians and personnel, oversee department operations, approve and direct budgets, hire and manage employees, and fill in for respiratory therapy technicians as necessary. Your responsibilities include providing respiratory therapy treatment to patients, supervising and disciplining respiratory technicians, reporting to department heads or directors, preparing reports, and utilizing, evaluating, and maintaining equipment. Your job duties also include direct patient communication and treatment, training and evaluating personnel, and delegating tasks to staff. Create accurate documentation and reporting for all patient visits. Delegate duties to support personnel as appropriate. Maintain communication with staff and outside agencies per state guidelines. Refer patients to medical specialists in dentistry, psychology, or other related fields.
