Administer anesthesia, monitor patients vital signs, and oversee patient recovery from anesthesia.

Employee is required to provide care for and record the care given to patients at Madison County Memorial Hospital. Participate and work cooperatively with ancillary, nursing, and other departments to maintain standards of professional nursing practice in the hospital setting. Supervises supportive personnel (PCT, CNA, PCA) assigned directly to medical floor to assist
with patient care.

The Emergency Room Technician/ EMT assures that patient care is being facilitated per facility policy and procedures during his or her shift. Notifies appropriate administrative staff with any event or occurrence that is not standard practice of the facility. Assists and performs clinical, non-clinical, and clerical duties as needed. Adheres to the MCMH Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Performs specific duties and skills as defined in competency assessment.  Only performs care within scope of practice.

The Financial Counselor is responsible for financial screenings for underinsured/uninsured patients, collecting money on private pay accounts, follow ups on delinquent accounts, addressing old balances owed by patients in Outpatient Registration settings, and setting up payment arrangements for patients.

09/27/2022 HIM Outpatient Coder/Clerk

The HIM Outpatient Coder/Clerk is responsible for coding, abstracting, and performing analysis on Outpatient records; and assists in answering phone calls and requests for patient records.

01/25/2022  Laboratory Technologist

Medical Technologists are responsible for testing in all areas of the Clinical Laboratory. This includes pre and post sample testing along with Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and participating in Continuous Quality Improvement.

As a Respiratory Therapy Manager, you supervise respiratory therapy technicians and personnel, oversee department operations, approve and direct budgets, hire and manage employees, and fill in for respiratory therapy technicians as necessary. Your responsibilities include providing respiratory therapy treatment to patients, supervising and disciplining respiratory technicians, reporting to department heads or directors, preparing reports, and utilizing, evaluating, and maintaining equipment. Your job duties also include direct patient communication and treatment, training and evaluating personnel, and delegating tasks to staff. You can find respiratory therapy manager roles in hospitals, doctor’s offices, home care companies, and other healthcare facilities.
