WHAT IS INFUSION THERAPY?
Infusion therapy delivers medications directly into the bloodstream through an IV. It’s used when treatments cannot be taken orally or need to act quickly and effectively. Some of the medications given are injectables and may be given intramuscular or subcutaneous.
