Dr. Wesley Driggers, MD, PhD, FAAFP

Dr. Driggers earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, Alabama in 2001 after completing his PhD in Cell Biology at the same institution. He subsequently completed his Family Practice Residency at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Valdosta State University and earned his Associate of Arts degree from North Florida Junior College.
Dr. Driggers is Board Certified in Family Medicine and brings a strong commitment to both patient care and medical education. He has served as a preceptor for medical students since 2006 with various medical schools. Since 2022, he has held an Associate Professor position with the Florida State University College of Medicine and has served as the Family Medicine Clerkship Director for the FSU College of Medicine Daytona Campus.
Born and raised in Hamilton County, Dr. Driggers has deep roots in the community. He is a member of the well-known Driggers family, recognized locally for Driggers Sausage. He and his wife, Shannon Murphy Driggers, also a Hamilton County native, have two sons and one daughter.
